IZ LIST Day 2026

IZ LIST Day 2026 once again brought our community together in Adlershof—giving colleagues based in Mitte a good excuse for a small Weltreise to Humboldt-Universität’s newer, modern campus. We met in the Mathematics & Informatics Building at Rudower Chaussee 25, in the beautifully equipped Humboldt-Kabinett. 

The day offered a mix of short talks, open discussion, and plenty of time to exchange ideas, make connections, and think ahead. The programme featured insights into recent developments across IZ LIST, including talks from Early Career Researchers and updates on new and ongoing collaborations. Beyond the presentations, much of the day was dedicated to discussion: in smaller groups, participants exchanged ideas about existing initiatives, explored new collaborations, and thought about possible joint activities—from research projects to future grant applications.

The result was a day that was both productive and pleasantly informal: a chance to find out what others are working on, discover points of connection, and turn conversations into concrete ideas for future initiatives. And, of course, there was coffee, tea, and plenty of snacks—because good collaborations are easier to start when everyone is well caffeinated and fed. ☕🥨

A big thank you to everyone who joined, contributed ideas, shared their work, and helped make IZ LIST Day 2026 such a fun and productive day. We are already looking forward to seeing where some of these conversations will lead!
