Verena Hafner is Professor of Adaptive Systems, where she explores how robots can learn, adapt, and interact more like humans. Her research brings together robotics, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science, with a focus on developmental learning, embodied AI, and social interaction between humans and intelligent machines. By taking inspiration from human learning and development, she creates computational models that help robots become more adaptive, autonomous, and collaborative.
